About the Role We are seeking a strategic and business-oriented Head of Sustainability Solutions to lead the governance, development, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of sustainability-related digital solutions across Nutreco's global organization. As owner of the global Sustainability Solutions portfolio, you will coordinate with Sustainability, Business Lines, Functions, and Digital & Technology teams to ensure solutions align with business priorities and Nutreco's sustainability strategy.

What You'll Do

• Own and govern Nutreco's global sustainability solutions portfolio, ensuring capabilities, digital solutions, and AI-enabled innovations are aligned with business priorities and the company's sustainability strategy.
• Partner with Sustainability, Digital, Data, Procurement, Finance, Marketing, and operational stakeholders to develop, implement, and continuously improve sustainability solutions that deliver measurable business value, regulatory readiness, and long-term strategic impact.
• Prioritize and manage the end-to-end sustainability solutions backlog, ensuring initiatives are aligned with business priorities and resources are focused on the highest-value opportunities.
• Establish effective governance, promote adoption and continuous improvement, and ensure global priorities are executed in a coordinated, scalable, and value-driven manner.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Business, Engineering, Data, Digital, or a related field.
• Approximately 10+ years of experience in sustainability, digital transformation, product ownership, program management, or related leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of sustainability topics including LCA, sustainability reporting, traceability, sustainable sourcing, and sustainability data management.
• Proven experience working across business, sustainability, and digital functions in a global environment.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs, portfolios, or digital product initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and change leadership skills.
• Experience in agriculture, animal nutrition, food, FMCG, ingredients, or related industries is preferred.
• Familiarity with agile ways of working and digital product development.
• Experience managing product backlogs, prioritization processes, and demand funnels.
• Understanding of AI-enabled solutions and their application within business processes.
• Product Owner certification or equivalent agile experience is preferred.
