Job title: Head of Storage

About the Role Head of Storage – leader of Storage within OVHcloud's Product Unit Storage. This role is to build and operate storage services (object, file, block) for customers and to pilot design, engineering and operational excellence while representing Storage across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Place the customer at the heart of issues: build the Storage strategy with cross-functional representation; monitor and pilot service quality; ensure customer satisfaction; maintain and share the product roadmap with the Product Manager; ensure the roadmap is executed.
• Address strong technical challenges: understand storage environments, infrastructure, automation and software; build and articulate a technological vision; stay vigilant; maximize value given OVHcloud's vertical model; be the Storage SPOC across the organization; participate in financing dossiers.
• Be part of product construction: grow Storage business; maintain coherent cost management; understand and manage financial elements (BM, BP, P&L); align Storage strategy with OVHcloud; understand the market, competitors and potential partners; contribute to strategy with executives and board; be customer-centric and manage escalation.
• Manage a dynamic team: foster team dynamics during transformation; guide pivots; develop staff with OVHcloud values; highlight teams (social media, tech events); ensure roadmaps execution with an effective organization; hire and structure; speak and write in English; manage multicultural teams.
• Your future impact: in 6 months, get to know the team, products and customers; define 1–2 year strategy in collaboration with peers; deploy new products or new locations.

• Strong ops & service quality mindset; significant knowledge of hardware, IaaS and storage services (block, file, object).
• A true leader who has coached and mentored technical teams; recognized as a facilitator, open-minded, curious and flexible (not afraid of change).
• Prefers collective success over individual wins; can run the organization and executive committee with effective communication; contributes to the infrastructure group executive committee to implement the group strategy.
• English: ability to speak and write in English; capability to manage multicultural teams.
