Head of Security
Reports to Global CTO
Responsibilities

Define Bybit’s company-wide security architecture and phased roadmap. Identify systemic risks across businesses and systems, and prioritize remediation.

Lead security initiatives across wallet and key management, trading systems, identity and access, software development, and infrastructure.

Build effective risk assessment, threat detection, and incident response capabilities, embedding security into engineering and day-to-day operations.

Anticipate emerging threats and technology shifts, and advise the CTO on major risks, priorities, and investment decisions.
Qualifications

Experience leading security for high-value assets or 24/7 mission-critical systems, with a track record of delivering change across teams.

Ability to set a long-term security direction while remaining hands-on with incident response and complex risk remediation.

Strong technical judgment and the ability to communicate risks clearly to business and technology leaders.

Experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or digital assets is a plus, but not a requirement.
