To ensure business continuity and strategic growth within the Asia Pacific region, Siemens Energy is seeking a Head of Sales for the Industrial Steam Turbines business segment to drive sustainable, profitable growth. Operating at a senior leadership level within the Transformation of Industry division, this role is critical to securing market share and maintaining high-value customer relationships across a diverse multinational landscape. To address these business aims, this role focuses on regional sales leadership, market strategy formulation, and complex contract negotiation. These core areas ensure the robust development of a high-value project pipeline and the successful introduction of innovative technology solutions to key regional players. Given the focus on regional sales leadership and complex engineering solutions, the ideal candidate will possess a tertiary engineering qualification, preferably paired with an MBA, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in power generation sales. Proven experience leading international teams and negotiating large-scale capital goods contracts is essential for success in this high-impact position.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• 40% Regional Sales Leadership & Strategy
• Lead and guide a team of International Sales experts for Steam Turbines in the Asia Pacific region to consistently achieve annual volume targets exceeding 100 Million Euros.
• Develop regional market strategies to identify trends, tackle competitors, and increase Siemens Energy's market segment share.
• Drive the introduction of new products and solutions (e.g., Energy Storage, Waste Heat Recovery) and lead the ISP Growth Initiatives across the territory.
• 30% Business Development & Execution
• Manage and develop projects from pre-acquisition activities up to successful handover to the project execution team.
• Build the regional project pipeline and establish a rolling forecast process in close consultation with the Hub Organization.
• Collaborate actively with the Hub Organization and other Siemens Energy Business Areas across respective countries.
• 30% Bid Management & Contract Negotiation
• Guide the sales team during direct customer engagement, proposal generation, and obtaining management Limits of Authority (LoA) approvals.
• Lead commercial and technical discussions, clarifications, and contract negotiations with major EPCs, developers, and owners until successful closure.

What You Bring

Education

• Tertiary qualification (Post-Graduation) in Engineering; MBA is a strong asset.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Power Generation business field (sales of capital goods, proposals, applications, or commissioning).
• Proven experience in contract negotiations with EPCs, Developers, and Owners, and leading international/multicultural sales teams in the AP region.
