Head of Sales & Marketing
We are seeking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales & Marketingto join their team in Lagos.
We are looking for someone who understands the business of sales, knows how to build lasting client relationships, and can identify opportunities that translate into revenue and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and corporate customers.
- Drive sales growth by promoting the company’sproducts.
- Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Prepare sales proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close profitable deals.
- Manage existing accounts while actively expanding the customer base.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and work towards achieving revenue targets.
- Explore new markets, partnerships, and distribution channels to increase the company’s market share.
Requirements

Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.

3–5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or commercial operations.

Experience in a trading company or related consumer goods industry will be an advantage.

Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.

Demonstrated ability to generate leads, convert prospects, and achieve sales targets.

Good understanding of market development, customer acquisition, and revenue growth strategies.
