Job title: Head of Sales Asia Pacific

About the Role Lead regional distributor partnerships and drive sustainable commercial growth across Asia Pacific. Own and evolve commercial planning, performance monitoring and market access while coordinating with internal stakeholders. Play a key role in integrating acquisitions and ensuring regulatory compliance and external visibility.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and manage regional distributor partnerships across Asia Pacific.
  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with regional distributors; align with corporate objectives, sales targets and market potential.
  • Lead commercial planning, execution and performance management; initially with senior leadership and progressively owning all activities.
  • Drive market intelligence and strategic decision-making; conduct market and competitive analyses; translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Enable strategic integration of acquisitions; integrate new products into the regional distribution network; collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Marketing and others to ensure market entry and continuity.
  • Ensure compliance and governance excellence; ensure full compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and distributor agreements; monitor performance and address risks.
  • Manage key stakeholders and market access; engage with healthcare professionals, regulatory authorities and trade associations; support business continuity and long-term positioning.
  • Represent the company externally and drive visibility; represent at industry events; strengthen brand visibility and foster new opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or comparable discipline; 5+ years in sales, business development or alliance management within pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences.
  • Pharmaceutical market expertise; understanding distribution structures, market access approaches and regulatory frameworks.
  • Commercial and negotiation strength; track record in managing distributor partnerships and driving revenue growth in competitive environments.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset; strong analytical and problem-solving with a results-oriented approach.
  • International and intercultural competence; experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
  • Language skills; fluent in English and German; proficiency in another major Asia language (e.g., Chinese) a nice-to-have.
  • Personal attributes and mobility; persuasive, resilient, strong communication and relationship-building; willingness to travel within Asia Pacific.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in additional Asia languages beyond Chinese is a plus.
