About the Role Responsible for proactive quality leadership at the Bremen site, acting as the quality/custome interface and driving continuous improvement, problem solving, and compliance with automotive quality standards. Leads the plant quality department and ensures customer satisfaction, supplier quality, and maturity of quality systems throughout development and production. What You'll Do
- Proactive responsibility of the quality/customer interface
- Lead the problem solving process, internally or at the customer
- Achieve the customer scorecard targets
- Lead the Werksqualitätsabteilung, including budgeting, resource assignment, personnel evaluation and development
- Supplier management
- Lead, implement and verify corresponding quality management systems
- Support development and market introduction of new products and processes
- Lead auditing of internal and external quality systems (e.g. TS16949, VDA, ISO 9001)
- Monitor sampling processes to ensure customer requirements in new or changed products and processes
- Ensure functional participation in product development and market launch activities, including identifying customer expectations, supporting production tests
- Verification of measurement systems
- Analyze measurement devices used within the production process or its support What We're Looking For
- Technical vocational training with commercial qualifications or a degree in mechanical/vehicle engineering or equivalent
- At least 6 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership position in the automotive industry
- Very good experience in quality methods: FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, VDA 6.3, GD&T
- Very good communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
- Strong problem-solving abilities including tools: 8D, Ishikawa Diagram, 5 Whys
- Solid MS Office knowledge
