About this role
What you’ll do
- Giga Energy is hiring a Head of Quality to own quality strategy, systems and outcomes across its electrical equipment manufacturing business. This leader builds and runs an enterprise-level Quality Management System (QMS), ensures every product meets UL,IEEE, and leads the quality organization from supplier to shipment and field. The role carries direct accountability for UL listing integrity, customer confidence and a measurable reduction in cost of poor quality.
Where you’ll work
This role is ideally based near our facilities in Long Beach or Houston, with full-time onsite expectations outside of bi-weekly WFH Fridays with 20-50% travel as needed.
That said, we will make exceptions for truly exceptional talent if you live outside one of our hubs. If you're the right person for this role, we'll have a conversation about what works.

Deep, hands-on experience in UL-regulated environments, with direct management of UL listings, follow-up service and audits. UL 891 switchboard experience is strongly preferred.
-
Proven record of developing and implementing an enterprise-level QMS from the ground up or through major transformation.
