Job title: Head of Program Delivery
About the Role The Head of Program Delivery is a defining leadership role responsible for building a scalable program delivery function to ensure multi-product client engagements are delivered consistently and credibly across SimCorp's most significant programs.
What You'll Do
- Build, develop, and lead a team of Program Delivery Leads with a high-performance culture centered on ownership, craft, and client focus.
- Define and continuously refine how programs are run, including delivery cadences, core artifacts, escalation paths, and internal/client communication standards.
- Create conditions for your team to perform at their best with clear expectations, coaching, and organizational backing.
- Act as the escalation point for difficult delivery challenges and navigate ambiguity to protect outcomes.
- Personally lead delivery on strategically significant client programs and coordinate across product, engineering, and commercial workstreams.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and present a credible view of status, tradeoffs, and timelines.
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for flagship client programs and establish operating rhythms with steering committees and executive check-ins.
- Maintain visibility across all active programs, identify systemic risks, and exercise sound judgment on when to intervene.
- Lead program- and portfolio-level decision forums and align internal and client stakeholders.
- Own the operational framework for program delivery, including reporting structures and quality standards, and continuously improve delivery practices.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in enterprise software delivery, including at least 3 in a leadership role managing program managers or delivery leads in enterprise B2B.
- Demonstrated success building or scaling a program delivery function and elevating team performance.
- Proven ability to lead client-facing programs at senior levels with executive stakeholder engagement.
- Solid understanding of financial markets and the institutional investment management landscape.
- Direct experience delivering financial software to institutional clients with understanding of data, workflows, integrations, and release cycles.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices: agile methodologies, tradeoffs, and cross-team dynamics between product, engineering, and delivery.
- A track record of building capability in others through coaching and development.
