Location: Collingwood, flexible working arrangements including remote working anywhere in Australia Work type: 14 month fixed-term contract (covering parental leave), 1 FTE (negotiable) Salary: Level 8 Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award, plus generous salary packaging

Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) is the national representative organisation for children and young people with disability aged 0 to 25 years.

Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) has a parental leave cover opportunity for an experienced leader with operations and governance experience who will work closely with our management team and Board.

Position overview

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Operations and Governance will provide advice and guidance to CYDA’s management team to ensure that the organisation has the policies, processes, workforce, resources and culture to achieve its aims. This position may deputise for the CEO when required. The Head of Operations and Governance will work closely with the CEO by developing and implementing operational strategies, policies and procedures to align with the growth of the organisation and with the annual plan. The position will also play a key role in guiding and collaborating with the Chair and CEO in governance of the Board.
