Job Position: Head of Operation

The Role
- We are looking for a strategic and hands-on operations leader who can plan, coordinate and control day-to-day business operations, drive productivity and efficiency, strengthen operational processes and ensure alignment with the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute operations strategy, initiatives and performance targets

Drive operational efficiency, productivity and continuous improvement

Develop and improve operating processes, SOPs and best practices

Review systems and processes to reduce overheads, downtime and operational costs

Analyse financial and operational data to improve profitability

Oversee facility, equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance programmes
-
Ensure projects and renovations are delivered on time, within standards and cost-effectively

Lead and manage operations managers and cross-functional teams
-
Drive performance management, accountability and team development

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and operational standards

Coach, mentor and develop managers and team members

Work closely with Executive Management and HR to ensure effective workforce planning.

What We're Looking For
-
HND/B.Sc. in Engineering, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a relevant discipline

Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role

MBA/Master's degree in an operations-related discipline is an added advantage
-
Relevant professional certifications are an advantage

Strong experience in operational strategy, process improvement, cost management and performance management

Strong leadership, people-management and problem-solving capabilities

Ability to work effectively with senior management and lead multiple operational functions
