Job title: Head of Medical Platform IT
About the Role Lead IT strategy and operations for AstraZeneca's Medical platform to maximize business value through platform strategy, operational excellence, and sustainable system management. Drive initiatives to optimize Medical platforms and business models, enabling AZKK’s future Medical events and operations to be executed smoothly and cost-effectively. Oversee projects across AI technologies, RWD-driven use cases, JDH-enabled data integration, and SAS-based analytics in the Medical domain, and manage IT lifecycle activities from incident to configuration management.
What You'll Do
- Maximize business value through Medical platform strategy, operational excellence, and sustainable system management.
- Lead initiatives to optimize Medical platforms and business models, enabling AZKK’s future Medical events and operations to be executed smoothly and cost-effectively.
- Lead all projects, including new initiatives utilizing cutting-edge AI technologies, RWD-driven use cases, JDH-enabled data integration, and SAS-based analytics capabilities in the Medical domain.
- Accountable for IT projects and system operations across the full lifecycle, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level, and Configuration Management.
- Lead IT planning processes for new Medical business requirements, ensuring alignment with AZKK priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading IT strategy and operations for Medical platforms and events within a large healthcare organization.
- Proven ability to deliver IT projects across the full lifecycle: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level, and Configuration Management.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, real-world data (RWD) driven use cases, JDH-enabled data integration, and SAS-based analytics in the Medical domain.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams and AZKK affiliates.
- Ability to design scalable, cost-effective Medical IT platforms and business models.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI technologies, RWD-driven use cases, JDH-enabled data integration, and SAS-based analytics in the Medical domain.
