About the Role Hyundai seeks a strategic HR leader to advise senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management. This role will develop executive‑level HR strategy, programs, and metrics, and leverage analytics to drive business objectives and operational efficiency. What You'll Do

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Develop executive-level reports related to HR strategy, programs, and metrics.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to support decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
  • Lead initiatives related to talent acquisition, retention, onboarding, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and implement professional development programs.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR programs and policies across the organization.
  • Ensure alignment with state and federal employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO), as well as Hyundai Motor Group global policies.
  • Monitor compliance and proactively mitigate risk through audits, training, and policy updates.
  • Oversee day-to-day employee relations activities, providing guidance to managers and employees to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Administer the performance management process, including goal setting, coaching, feedback, and training for leaders.
  • Counsel leadership in applying associate relations best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Global HR counterparts, particularly in South Korea, to support global programs and ensure alignment across cultures.
  • Adapt global initiatives to fit local practices and regulatory requirements while promoting global HR consistency.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the HR team, including HR Managers and specialists in areas such as Benefits, Training, HRIS, and Recruiting.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth within the HR function. What We're Looking For
  • Experience as a strategic HR leader with expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Strong capability in HR data and analytics, with the ability to translate metrics into executive‑level insights.
  • Proven track record in talent management, including acquisition, retention, onboarding, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR programs and policies, with strong understanding of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO) and global policies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and Global HR counterparts.
  • Knowledge of compliance risks and ability to lead audits, trainings, and policy updates.
  • Global and cross‑cultural collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt initiatives across local practices and regulatory contexts.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring and developing HR professionals. Compensation & Benefits
