Job Overview
- We are looking for a dynamic, highly structured, and forward-thinking Head of Human Resources & Administration to oversee their workforce strategy and operational administration.
- The Head of HR & Admin will be responsible for leading talent management, employee relations, regulatory workplace compliance, performance management, and administrative operations.
- The ideal candidate will bridge organizational strategy with workforce optimization, ensuring seamless office administration and maintaining a high-performance work culture aligned with microfinance banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes across all departments and branches.
- Drive the staff performance appraisal system (KPI tracking), ensuring alignment with bank goals and growth objectives.
- Identify skills gaps and coordinate learning programs to build workforce capacity and ensure regulatory continuous professional development.
- Foster a positive work environment, handle grievance resolution, manage payroll inputs, and oversee staff health/welfare benefits.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and staff handbooks in compliance with Nigerian Labor Law and microfinance banking industry standards.
Administrative Operations:

Oversee daily administrative functions, facility maintenance, procurement, vendor management, and office supplies.

Maintain bank physical assets, security setups, and inventory records across locations.

Manage fleet/transportation logistics and enforce occupational health and safety protocols across operations.

Ensure secure maintenance of personnel records, administrative filings, and regulatory documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./HND) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience in HR and Administration, preferably within the Microfinance Banking sector.

Professional Certification: Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI) is required.

Knowledge: Sound understanding of Nigerian Labor Law, CBN microfinance guidelines, and workplace compliance standards.
Skills
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS (HR Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
