Job title: Head of Human Resources – Abuja
We are seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function and drive strategic people initiatives in a fast-growing cybersecurity and Managed Security Service Provider environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategy, workforce plans, and annual HR plans.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Manage performance management, employee relations, engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
- Develop learning, development, competency, and succession-planning programmes.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll coordination, HR policies, and compliance.
- Strengthen HR governance and cybersecurity workforce processes, including joiner, mover, and leaver controls.
- Lead HRIS adoption, HR automation, workforce analytics, and responsible use of AI-enabled HR tools.
- Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards for executive management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or significant managerial HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment regulations and HR best practices.
- Proven experience across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy development, L&D, compensation, and HR reporting.
- Practical experience with HRIS, workforce analytics, automation, and digital HR tools.
- Experience in technology, cybersecurity, telecommunications, financial services, or other fast-paced environments is an advantage.
- CIPM certification and active membership, with a valid HR Practitioners’ Licence, are strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
