About the Role Marvell seeks a Head of Global Physical Security to design, mature, and lead a world-class, global physical security program that protects employees, facilities, intellectual property, and operations across corporate offices, labs, and customer-facing sites. This is a senior leadership role responsible for strategy, governance, incident response, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration to integrate physical security with cyber, business continuity, and crisis management.
What You'll Do
- Develop and communicate Marvell's global physical security strategy, governance, operating rhythms, service levels, KPIs, escalation paths, and executive reporting.
- Create, update, and enforce global physical security policies, standards, playbooks, procedures, and controls aligned with industry best practices, applicable laws, and regional requirements.
- Build a scalable global operating model balancing enterprise consistency with local execution across regions and sites.
- Serve as Marvell's senior subject matter expert on physical security risk, workplace safety, threat response, and security posture.
- Lead development of workplace security programs covering access control, visitor management, CCTV / video surveillance, intrusion detection, alarms, badge governance, lobby security, mail and package screening, parking, perimeter protection, and sensitive-area controls.
- Establish global standards for security at offices, labs, events, executive visits, customer meetings, and high-profile internal gatherings.
- Embed security into the planning, design, construction, renovation, and commissioning of new and existing Marvell facilities.
- Develop a global physical security risk assessment framework that identifies vulnerabilities, prioritizes remediation, and drives measurable risk reduction. Conduct and oversee audits, inspections, site assessments, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews.
- Lead Marvell’s response to significant physical security threats, incidents, workplace violence concerns, protests, natural disasters, geopolitical disruptions, executive threats, and related crises.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on, enterprise-minded leader able to move from executive briefings to site-level risk reviews, policy creation to incident response, and strategic planning to real-time operational execution.
- Ability to lead a global physical security program and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Workplace, Facilities, Real Estate, IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, HR, Executive Leadership, Corporate Communications, Travel, EHS, and regional business leaders.
- Deep knowledge of physical security risk, governance, incident response, crisis management, threat assessment, and security technology.
- Strong communication, advisory capabilities, and track record building scalable, globally consistent security programs.
