About the Role The Global Role Category Lead Plant Supplies for Contitech CTBC is responsible for the worldwide strategic purchasing of plant and operational supplies, consumables and services essential for plant operations across all Contitech business areas. The role leads a team of Global Category Managers and Category Buyers and drives the implementation of the category strategy, delivering value through cost reduction, supplier performance, and ensured material availability. What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a global team of Category Managers/Buyers in line with Continental leadership principles, setting objectives, measuring progress and supporting staff.
- Act as interface to internal and external stakeholders (Engineering, Plants, Suppliers); translate business and purchasing strategy into concrete actions and train stakeholders to use the right tools and processes.
