About this role
About the Role Factorial is seeking a Head of Finance Pre-Sales to own the go-to-market for the Finance suite across Europe. You will lead a team of 5 pre-sales consultants across ES, FR, PT, IT, and DACH and sit in the Finance triad with the Product Director and Product Marketing Manager, giving you equal voice and shared accountability for growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a team of 5 pre-sales consultants across ES, FR, PT, IT, and DACH; set clear expectations, run performance management, and develop careers.
- Drive GTM alignment with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to build qualified Finance pipeline; shape campaigns, content, webinars, and events.
- Shape the Finance product roadmap by translating market signals into prioritized feedback and partnering with Product to influence roadmap; stay ahead of competitors.
- Lead strategically from the front: personally run discovery and demos on the most strategic Finance deals; represent the Finance domain externally via webinars and events.
- Enable all three revenue streams (New Business, Customer Success and Expansion, and Partners): design Finance certification for Account Executives, define where pre-sales plays vs AE run solo, and enable CX teams to upsell within existing customers; co-build partner assets.
- Build the measurement layer for Finance pre-sales: attach rate, win rate on attached deals, ACV uplift, deal cycle impact.
- Align with Marketing, Product Marketing, SDR/AE/CX motions, and shape plays; influence what’s qualified and what plays work in each market.
- Translate customer problems into actionable product feedback and ensure Voice of the Customer informs Product decisions.
What We're Looking For
- A leader who moves systems: you've built and scaled teams that hit targets and can articulate what you changed in the team, GTM motion, and org thinking.
- Stakeholder management at scale: comfortable aligning Marketing, Sales, CS, Partners, and Product around a common agenda.
- A GTM operator: worked with Marketing and Sales leadership to drive pipeline, can brief campaigns, push back on positioning, and tell Marketing what’s working.
- Influence as a craft: you move people who don’t report to you and can build coalitions, sell ideas internally, and turn data into decisions.
- Deep Finance domain knowledge: experience selling to or working with CFOs, with familiarity in AP automation, expense workflows, procurement/approval logic, or headcount planning; background in Spend Management, FP&A, ERP-adjacent SaaS, or Finance Ops is ideal.
- Consultancy-grade thinking: diagnose deeply, structure clearly, and recommend with conviction; coach your team to think this way.
- Multilingual environment comfort: fluent English; working proficiency in at least one of Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, or German strongly preferred.
- Owner’s mindset: treat the Finance domain as your business with P&L thinking, not seat-filling.
