‎Overview

• ‎We are recruiting a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance & Accounts for our client.
• ‎We are seeking an experienced finance professional who can take full ownership of the finance function and play a key role in supporting business growth and expansion.
• The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-growing environment, strengthening financial systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting licensing requirements, and providing financial insight that drives business decisions.
• ‎‎Ultimately, you will build a strong financial foundation that enables sustainable growth while ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and sound financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• ‎Oversee the company's day-to-day finance and accounting operations.

• ‎Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports.

• ‎Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

• ‎Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including supporting licensing and business expansion activities.

• ‎Strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and reporting processes.

• ‎Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital efficiently.

• ‎Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely regulatory reporting.

• ‎Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support management decisions.

• ‎Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while driving continuous process improvement.

• ‎Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support the organization's long-term growth strategy.

• ‎Requirements

• ‎Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• ‎ICAN (ACA) or ACCA certification is required.

• ‎7–10 years' progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.

• ‎Proven experience leading the finance function within a growing organization.

• ‎Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

• ‎Demonstrated ability to establish financial controls, improve processes, and support business expansion initiatives.

• ‎Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

• ‎Strong leadership, commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.

• ‎High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

Salary

N800,000 net / month (Based on Experience).
