Job Description We are seeking an experienced and qualified Head of Finance & Accounts to lead our finance and accounting function. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting, establishing effective controls, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous process improvement within the department. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, and financial controls, while also leading, managing, and mentoring the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, and financial controls.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accounting requirements.
Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Drive process improvement and operational efficiency within the finance function.
Provide financial analysis and support effective management decision-making.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is required.
7–10 years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role.
Experience in the Trading industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, controls, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools.
Understanding of local GAAP requirements.
Strong team management and process improvement capabilities.
