About this role
About Clay
AI is unleashing the biggest wave of company creation in history. Clay's mission is to be the engine those companies use to grow to their full potential.
Clay predicts the next best action for your business and then helps you take it. We started by aggregating the best data for B2B companies. Then, we built the infrastructure to run any personalized campaign on top of it, including emails, ads, landing pages, and workflows that make reps more productive. Now, we're building agents that can help grow your company for you. We're already helping thousands of customers — including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Visa — go to market with unique data, signals, and AI research.
In 2026, we raised a $115M Series D at $7.1B Valuation led by Wellington — and are on track to cross $200M in revenue this quarter. We also launched a $1M Scholarship fund for GTME Education.

Head of Field Marketing @ Clay
We're looking for a Head of Field Marketing to build the function that gets our target accounts in a room with our sales team. Roughly half of Clay's business now runs through a sales-led motion serving mid-market, enterprise, and strategic accounts, and we're building the marketing engine to match. In this role, you'll own executive dinners, regional shows, roadshows, hospitality, and the pipeline layer inside our tentpole events, including Sculpt, our annual user conference. You'll sit in the Growth team, work in a pod with sales leadership, Corporate Events, and RevOps, and be the single front door for anything the sales org needs from marketing events. This is a builder role: you'll set up the operating model from scratch and be measured on the pipeline you source.
What You'll Do
-
Design and run the regional and account-based program portfolio: executive dinners, regional third-party shows, roadshows, lunch-and-learns, and hospitality for Strategic and Sales-led accounts.
-
Build the operating model for the function: program menu, intake and triage process, funding rules, and the target-account standard every program is built against.
-
Partner with Strategic and Sales-led segment leaders to build target-account lists and align program investment to where pipeline is needed most.
-
Sit in sales leadership's staff meeting and pipeline reviews as marketing's field representative, and act as the single point of contact for all event requests from sales.
-
Equip reps and executives to run personal outreach for every program: templates, sequencing, target lists, and follow-up plays.
-
Own the strategic-account lane inside Sculpt and tier-one shows — invites, meetings, executive sessions, and side dinners — within the invite program and calendar set by Corporate Events.
-
Co-own the decision to attend tier-one shows with Brand, and own the meeting and pipeline plan for each.
-
Stand up the measurement layer with RevOps so every program reports sourced pipeline, meetings booked, and target-account attendance, and compares on cost per opportunity against other growth channels.
-
Hire and manage field marketers as the sales org grows, starting with segment alignment and regionalizing as we build international sales coverage.
What You'll Bring
-
10+ years in B2B marketing leading field or regional marketing at a company with a meaningful enterprise or strategic sales motion.
-
A track record of sourcing pipeline through account-targeted programs, and the numbers to show it.
-
Deep credibility with sales leaders; you've sat in their staff meetings and they've asked for you by name.
-
Experience running the pipeline layer inside a user conference or tier-one show alongside a brand or events team.
-
Operational rigor: you build target lists, funding rules, and reporting before you book venues.
-
You are AI forward: you use agents and automation to run programs leaner than the headcount suggests.
-
Strongly preferred: experience building in Clay.
