Head of Engineering Delivery Sweden/Finland

About the Role Lead the engineering and product delivery organization in Sweden, ensuring efficient and reliable execution of Edenred’s IT and product roadmap. You will work across product, engineering, QA and business analysis teams in a cross‑BU setup with Finland, reporting to the CTO for Edenred Sweden/Finland. What You'll Do

• Own delivery of IT and product initiatives in Sweden with predictable quality and timelines.
• Manage risks, dependencies and escalations; align scope, delivery constraints and cost estimates.
• Lead Product Owners, Developers, QA and Business Analysts; define clear roles and org structure; drive performance and career development.
• Foster consistent Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban); manage backlog, planning and delivery governance; drive continuous improvement of delivery efficiency.
• Ensure alignment with architecture, security and Group standards; support Tech Leads.
• Provide effort and cost estimates; optimize resource allocation; manage capacity and cross‑team dependencies.
• Track delivery performance with KPIs; report progress and risks; oversee external partner delivery and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with Finland counterparts and shared functions; contribute to cross‑BU initiatives.
• Act as main delivery contact for Product, Business, and CTO; maintain visibility of priorities and risks. What We're Looking For
• 3-5 years experience leading engineering or delivery teams in complex environments.
• Strong experience delivering digital platforms (web, mobile, integrations).
• Good understanding of Agile and delivery frameworks.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, architecture, and cloud environments.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors; strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset; familiar with modern tech environments (Azure, APIs, .NET, Angular).
• Experience with delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, CI/CD, DevOps); full proficiency in English; Swedish language meritorious but not required.
• The position is based in Liljeholmen, Stockholm with travel to Finland. Nice to Have
