About the Role The Head of Business Unit Controlling for OE and Industrial at MANN+HUMMEL serves as a strategic financial partner to the VP-level leaders of Original Equipment and Industrial businesses, providing a holistic financial perspective and driving sustainable value creation. The role focuses on linking financial steering to profitability, cash flow, and capital efficiency, while leading digitalization and process optimization across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Act as a trusted financial co-pilot and strategic counterpart to Vice Presidents of Original Equipment and Industrial businesses, challenging senior leadership to improve financial performance.
- Drive profitability, cash flow, capital efficiency targets, and liquidity planning through KPI-based performance management.
- Lead company-wide process optimization and digitalization initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, and alignment with group standards.
- Design and improve financial processes with a strong focus on digitalization and data quality; build trust-based relationships across a global matrix organization.
- Own and ensure high-quality financial processes, forecasts, budgets, and KPI analysis for senior management; provide oversight of legal entities, profitability by customer/product, costing, investment management, and capital allocation.
- Manage risk and controls by ensuring internal control compliance and translating Headquarters requirements into regional finance strategy; identify gaps and drive corrective actions with business leadership.
- Lead, develop, and inspire the Business Unit Controlling organization; build talent, foster accountability, and promote a one-team mindset across regions and functions.
- Act as a role model for transparency, trust, and constructive challenge; support digital learning and continuous capability development.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; minimum 10 years of finance/controlling experience with direct people management.
- Experience in a global, matrixed, multicultural organization with proven leadership capabilities.
- Strong financial acumen and reporting capabilities; advanced SAP expertise; strong analytical and business partnering skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities; ability to drive performance and challenge senior stakeholders; MS Office proficiency.
- Willingness to travel ~10%.
