About the Role The Head of Business Services (Mexico) leads AIG's Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Services for Mexico, ensuring professional delivery of facilities, safety and support services in country operations. This role manages a cross-functional team, drives cost efficiency, and collaborates with regional leadership to uphold global standards and internal compliance. The position reports to the Head of Business Services LAC and supports in-office collaboration as part of AIG's culture.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the Mexico-based Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Services function, delivering Real Estate Services, Controlling, Third Party Management, Corporate Services, Health, Safety & Environment, Security Services, and Business Continuity Services.
- Ensure professional property and facility management, space planning, project/move management, and support for critical infrastructure.
- Plan and monitor budgets; identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement in cost development.
- Govern third-party relationships, ensure adherence to the TPA governance process, and provide SME guidance across policy, tools, roles and annual risk assessments.
- Oversee Corporate Services such as A/V, document management, fleet, mail distribution, reception, mobile telephony, and more.
- Support HR in reviewing HSE policy compliance, deliver regular H&S training, and advance sustainability initiatives (energy, waste, emissions, digitalisation).
- Ensure security standards for access control systems and CCTV; support Business Continuity with BCP, BIA, Disaster Recovery, IMT, including documentation, trainings, and exercise plans.
- Lead a motivated team to achieve top performance and independent thinking in line with AIG principles; provide professional operational services for Mexico.
- Maintain alignment with global standards and collaborate with regional leadership to ensure services are delivered professionally and in compliance with internal guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading corporate real estate and workplace services within a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of HSE, safety training, sustainability initiatives, and alignment with HR policies.
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets, control costs, and identify savings opportunities.
- Experience governing third-party management and vendor relationships, with governance process adherence and risk assessments.
- Proficiency in space planning, project/move management, and management of critical infrastructure.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with regional/global stakeholders, and uphold compliance standards.
- Familiarity with security (access control, CCTV) and business continuity concepts (BCP, BIA, DR, IMT).

- Experience using governance tools and risk assessment frameworks.
- Prior exposure to AIG's corporate services environment and related policies.
