Job title: Head of Business Analytics and Insights - Canada IM
About the Role This role will lead Business Analytics and Insights for Sun Pharma's Canada IM portfolio, overseeing a team of three and driving sales operations, analytics, market insights, and incentive compensation. The position partners with the Head of Canada IM to ensure data-driven strategic decisions and sustainable growth across commercial functions.
What You'll Do
- Lead Market Research to ensure primary data informs efforts and coordinates qualitative with quantitative data.
- Manage Sales Operations strategy, planning and integrated processes; collaborate across Marketing, Operations, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Finance.
- Direct CRM and Incentive Compensation design, documentation, administration and reporting; ensure timely plan rollouts.
- Provide analytics and insights to support customer segmentation, sales force effectiveness, and targeting.
- Act as lead on requested business analyses (monthly, daily, ad-hoc).
- Forecast brands and development of KPIs; monitor progress and compare methodologies (epidemiology, market data, patient-based).
- Manage vendors and collaborate with US Sun to obtain market data and insights.
- Lead market research projects to fill knowledge gaps; lead new product and indication launch analytics and data/market insights.
- Support Sales Leadership in field communications and incentive programs; organize field sales Plan of Action and National Sales Meetings.
- Oversee team development and coach staff; build long-term capability.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in Marketing, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or MBA.
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading a commercial operations function in pharma/biotech; mastery of analytics.
- Strong preference for Biologics experience (Dermatology/Rheumatology and/or Ophthalmic).
- Deep understanding of industry data (Rx, Claims, APLD, SP, PSP) and data utilization.
- Proven experience in Sales Effectiveness and Sales Incentives.
- Strategic leadership, vision, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong market development and go-to-market skill; cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities; meet deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solving, accountability, integrity, and coaching ability.
- Experience managing direct reports.
Nice to Have
- Specific experience in Biologics (Dermatology/Rheumatology and/or Ophthalmic) is highly desirable.
