We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Accounts (ACA, ACCA)

Location: Abuja / Port Harcourt - Rivers / Warri - Delta

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), or Finance Director.

Direct Reports: Accountants, Financial Analysts, Payroll, and Accounts Payable/Receivable teams.

Summary

A Head of Finance leads the day-to-day financial operations, planning, and reporting of an organization while guiding its overall financial health and advising executive leadership.

Primary Objective

Ensure fiscal stability, accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and data-driven business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts.
• Build and maintain financial models for revenue forecasting, pricing, and profitability analysis.

Financial Operations & Reporting:

• Oversee general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Prepare accurate statutory, regulatory, and management financial statements.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

• Manage working capital, liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and bank relationships.
• Oversee capital expenditure planning and vendor/procurement

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Establish and enforce internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and audit requirements (working with internal/external auditors)
