About the Role Polaris Bank seeks a senior leader to ensure regulatory compliance and establish an effective technology risk management culture across the Bank. The Head of IT Governance & Risk Compliance will drive governance, risk management, and compliance programs to protect information assets and ensure regulatory expectations are met. What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of IT governance, risk management, and compliance programs aligned with Nigerian and international regulatory requirements.
- Monitor technology risk exposure, control effectiveness, and regulatory posture; report to senior management and risk committees.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, Audit, Compliance, and business units to implement controls, policies, and procedures; ensure timely testing and remediation.
- Champion risk awareness and training across technology and business functions; stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting IT risk. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Technology Risk, Governance, Audit, or Compliance.
- Certifications: CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, ISO 27001.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, risk management processes, and regulatory requirements in banking.
