Overview

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a firm-wide HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with the Managing Partner and senior leadership on strategic people matters.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across legal and business support functions.
- Drive performance management, career development, succession planning, and retention.
- Develop and implement L&D and leadership development programmes.
- Lead compensation benchmarking, salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits administration.
- Oversee HRIS, HR analytics, policies, workforce planning, and reporting.
- Provide strategic support on partner-level matters and other confidential HR issues.
- Build and lead a high-performing HR team and strengthen the firm’s employer brand.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or Psychology.
- Master of Laws (LL.M.) or MBA is preferred.
- SHRM-SCP, CIPD, CIPM, or equivalent professional certification.
- 10–12 years’ progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Experience in a law firm, professional services, or partnership environment is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing the full HR lifecycle independently.
- Experience in a top-tier Nigerian or international law firm is preferred.
