Head, Human Resource and Admin Manager

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Human Resources
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
  • Manage staff records, attendance, leave, and employee documentation.
  • Coordinate performance management and employee appraisal processes.
  • Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Support payroll preparation by ensuring accurate employee data.
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture, etc.

Administration

  • Oversee all administrative operations across the businesses.
  • Manage office facilities, equipment, and administrative budgets.
  • Supervise administrative staff and support services.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.
  • Coordinate security, maintenance, and vendor management, etc.

Academic Qualification and Skills

  • B.Sc./HND in Social Science, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or HRCI) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in Human Resources and Administration in a retail firm or fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing large workforces in multiple locations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
