About this role
Section: Overview We are a fast-growing, multi-brand QSR group operating some of the most recognised food brands in the market. As we continue to expand across multiple locations and markets, we are seeking an experienced Head of Treasury to lead our treasury operations, liquidity management, funding strategy and financial risk management. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to optimise cash flow, strengthen financial controls and support the organisation's strategic growth.
Section: Responsibilities Lead treasury operations, cash management and liquidity planning across Nigeria and Kenya. Develop and oversee cash flow forecasts and working capital management strategies. Manage banking relationships, borrowing facilities, debt obligations and covenant reporting. Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposure across the Naira, Kenyan Shilling and US Dollar. Identify opportunities to optimise cash utilisation, reduce financing costs and improve treasury efficiency. Establish effective treasury policies, procedures and internal controls. Provide strategic treasury insights and reports to the CFO and executive leadership team. Support budgeting, financial forecasting, business expansion and investment decisions. Lead and develop the treasury team while driving process improvements and reporting automation.
Section: Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA qualification. Minimum of 8 years' finance experience, with strong exposure to both Treasury and FP&A. At least 3 years' experience in a managerial or leadership role. Strong expertise in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, debt financing, banking relationships and FX risk management. Experience in QSR, Retail, FMCG or other fast-paced industries will be an added advantage. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, negotiation and leadership skills.
