About this role
Section: Description A Head of Financial Reporting is needed in Lagos for a role in an Insurance-related entity with Fintech experience. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, 8–10 years’ experience in financial accounting/reporting within Insurance, and ICAN, ACCA or relevant professional qualification. The candidate should have strong knowledge of IFRS, regulatory reporting and insurance accounting, and IFRS 17 implementation experience is highly desirable.
Section: Responsibilities
- Lead financial reporting, IFRS and IFRS 17 implementation
- Oversee regulatory and statutory reporting
- Manage technical accounting, financial controls and reconciliations
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, audit and compliance
- Drive financial systems and process improvement
- Lead teams and manage stakeholder relationships

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 8–10 years’ experience in financial accounting/reporting within Insurance
- ICAN, ACCA or relevant professional qualification required
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, regulatory reporting and insurance accounting
