Position Summary

Bryant University is hiring for a part-time Head Coach for Women’s Club Lacrosse.

Principal Accountabilities

I. Coaching

• Oversee direct responsibility of the Club Women’s Lacrosse Program.
• Direct one or more division area(s) (i.e. Novice/ Varsity), as assigned, including:
• Schedule, plan, attend, and implement all practices and matches
• Assume administrative oversight of program operations: team travel details, equipment upkeep, and training programs.
• Communicate effectively and serve as a mentor and coach with student athletes so that student athletes develop their full potential as individuals and athletes
• Assist other coaches and team members in fundraising efforts, alumnae development, and serve as point person for some initiatives.
• Design and implementation of an off-campus recruiting strategy for prospective student-athletes.
• Supervise and mentor Assistant Coach(es).

II. Administration

• Coordinate program business operations including, but not limited to:
• Budget maintenance
• Purchasing
• Travel
• General clerical duties
• Coordinate with Associate Athletic Director for Recreation with any budgetary items, travel plans, roster changes, etc.

III. Miscellaneous

• Additional duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Recreation
• Must be First Aid/CPR certified.
• Represent Bryant University, the Department of Athletics and Recreation, and the Club Women’s Lacrosse Program in a professional and ethical manner.

Qualifications

• Highly prefer candidates who hold a National Coaching License and at a minimum have coached High School Varsity Lacrosse

• Must be First Aid/CPR certified
