About the Role The HCV Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is national in scope and responsible for the strategic direction that uncovers and accelerates MAVYRET business results. This role drives perceptual differentiation in the market, identifies and optimizes HCV elimination partnerships, and unlocks strategic growth opportunities. The successful candidate will lead a team of regional TLLs who execute the strategy in-market. What You'll Do
- Deeply understand HCV market drivers, competitive landscape, and provider dynamics, and reflect these insights in brand strategy; sets TLL strategy and collaborates on HCP and Consumer marketing strategy, resource optimization, and tactic development; partners with Senior Leaders to identify key marketing opportunities/projects nationally.
- Act as a conduit between sales and marketing to bridge communication gaps, quickly act on opportunities both nationally and regionally; set KOL strategy and lead in-field execution; plan externally facing activities with KOLs (Sponsorships, Conventions, AdBoards, etc.).
- Lead a team of regional TLLs in developing and executing customized marketing plans to optimize tactical execution as measured by KPIs; coordinate the work of multiple external vendors and internal departments; manage TLL promotional budget.
- HCV-specific considerations: identify opportunities and establish account-based execution plans within alternative, low-barrier treatment models; oversee, and continuously evolve, the HCV elimination (“ELIMINation”) program to maximize strategic impact; ensure TLLs function as strategic connectors from external opportunities to internal execution teams; maintain contractual obligations for Medicaid-exclusive states.
- Create strategy that drives smart market growth and oversee execution of that strategy ensuring business results are tracked and met; travel up to 50% domestically. What We're Looking For
- Basic qualifications: Bachelor's Degree; 8+ years of relevant sales, sales management, or marketing experience with at least 2 years in Hepatology/Virology/Addiction Medicine; 3+ years of HCP-related activities; agency/vendor management experience; strong analytical and strategic thinking; collaboration and team orientation; quick learner and ability to deal with ambiguity; self-starter and able to work independently; demonstrated ability to translate medical/clinical knowledge into marketing strategy; experience deriving insights from quantitative and qualitative market research; strong written and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- HCIR credentialing: satisfy all applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and safe driving requirements. Nice to Have
- Deep knowledge of current HCV market; Addiction Medicine market knowledge; Sales and/or sales management experience; Patient Advocacy experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits
