Deutsche Post AG is hiring a Hausarbeiter/Betriebshandwerker (m/w/d) - a facility/building maintenance worker - for its site in Hohenthurm (Landsberg), Germany.
Responsibilities include performing maintenance and upkeep work on buildings and outdoor facilities, supporting relocations when properties change, assisting with rearrangement work inside the buildings, reading meter readings, carrying out work required under traffic safety obligations, and arranging protective measures against storm, frost and water damage.
Requirements: completed vocational training in a skilled trade, several years of relevant professional experience preferred, knowledge of building services technology is an advantage, ability to work independently, high willingness to work, flexibility and resilience, reliability, a car driving licence, good organisational skills, ability to react spontaneously and effectively to situations, and technical understanding.
Benefits include a collectively agreed starting hourly wage of EUR 14.34 (approx. EUR 2,399.98 gross/month), pay under the ETV-MTV DPAG agreement, a 38.5-hour work week, 26-30 days of annual leave, employer contribution to capital-forming benefits, holiday and Christmas bonus pay, a job ticket subsidy, and a company vehicle available from the Hohenthurm work location.
