About the Role Stratolaunch is seeking a Harness Engineer at Level II, Senior, or Staff to support the development and improvement of air-launched, hypersonic flight vehicle avionics systems and units for manufacturability, assembly, and test. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to generate requirements, design, analyze, manufacture, test, and integrate avionics systems for flight readiness. What You'll Do
- Contribute to and work with a diverse team of mechanical, avionics, and manufacturing engineers
- Perform and/or support requirements development or maturation for wire harnesses
- Wire harness architecture, layout, and design
- Create production drawings and work with machine shops and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable
- Coordinate procurement internally and externally with suppliers
- Develop harness specifications and test procedures
