About the Role Teradyne Memory's New Product Introduction (NPI-Pilot Line) team in San Jose, CA is seeking a Hardware Test Technician to conduct tests and evaluations on tester and PCBA products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This on-site role supports product development by performing tests, documenting results, and maintaining testing equipment. What You'll Do
- Conduct testing and evaluations on Nextest products, including stress tests, performance evaluations, and quality assurance checks, to verify functionality, reliability, and durability.
- Document results by recording and interpreting test data, providing detailed findings to engineers and stakeholders to inform product development and improvements.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment, perform regular cleaning, debugging, and repairs to ensure accurate testing results. What We're Looking For
- Able to troubleshoot PCBA at component level and repair PCBA as needed.
- Able to use and troubleshoot Test Equipment Tools (Oscilloscope, Multimeter).
- Able to identify product and equipment failures.
- 5+ years of related experience (preferred).
- Excellent communication with cross-functional personnel (verbal and email).
- Able to work on-site 5 days a week (between 7am-5pm).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PDF, etc.).
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and manage time effectively with strong organizational skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and willing to work overtime.
- Local to San Jose, CA; relocation not provided; not eligible for visa sponsorship. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: The base salary range for this role is $58,600 - $93,800 (USD) per year.
