About the Role The Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) Enterprise Physical Security organization is seeking a Project Manager to deliver key hardware products from Motorola Solutions' roadmap. You will lead early scoping, planning, execution, control, and closeout of small to mid-sized projects in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, coordinating with engineering and multiple business functions to meet customer needs and time-to-market. What You'll Do
- Create complete project schedules and planning documents including effort estimates, resource requirements, and capital costs
- Drive project execution according to the approved plan and schedule
- Actively monitor progress, track issues and risks, follow up on actions, and provide timely status updates to stakeholders
- Work with cross-departmental project teams and technical leaders to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
- Coordinate prototype production with manufacturing teams
- Manage project dependencies across Hardware, Firmware, and Software teams
- Liaise with third-party vendors and suppliers as appropriate
- Maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle and continuously evolve project management processes for efficiency What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
- 4+ years of hardware project or program management experience; NPI and Product Lifecycle Management understanding
- PMP certification considered a plus; strong background in hardware design (mechanical, electrical, firmware)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and diverse stakeholders
- Experience delivering formal deliverables (reports, charts, status updates, executive summaries, presentations)
- Understanding of software development and dependencies in relation to hardware delivery
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills; ability to present to sponsors and senior management
- Proficient with engineering change management tools (e.g., Agile PLM) and familiarity with Atlassian tools is a plus Nice to Have
- PMP certification (preferred)
- Proficiency with Agile PLM and Atlassian toolset Compensation & Benefits
- Target base salary range: CAD 70,000 – CAD 90,000 per year
- Hybrid work arrangement: Vancouver office 1-2 days per week
