About the Role Volt is seeking a Hardware Engineer in Fremont, California to drive engineering solutions from R&D to production, working closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and customers. You will lead hardware engineers to resolve issues promptly, analyze failures to identify root causes, and help transition products into production while improving test data analysis and manufacturing processes. What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, customers) to resolve engineering issues in a timely manner.
- Lead hardware engineers to solve engineering problems and guide troubleshooting.
- Analyze failures with R&D to determine root causes.
- Manage and guide the transition of products into production.
- Analyze test data to improve manufacturing processes.
- Review and direct troubleshooting/repair strategies. What We're Looking For
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in server/storage/PC hardware architecture.
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and strong communication skills.
- Experience working in manufacturing and product development.
- Ability to use an oscilloscope to debug.
- Experience in circuit-board design is desirable. Nice to Have
- PCB design experience is desirable. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $38.00/hr to $47.00/hr.
