Position: Hardware (Electrical) Engineer Location: Austin, Texas ( Travel Required) Duration: Long-Term Contract

Description

• New device has been rolled out and this individual will go onsite for maintenance and support activities, will collaborate with other techs in US, read tech documentation and schematics, transfer to field techs, key engineering is in Austin so will also travel to Austin to collaborate with them in person, will be urgent, frequent short trips, valid DL in case need to rent a car if uber/lyft not an option.

• We are seeking a Hardware (Electrical) Engineer to provide electrical engineering support for hardware deployed in the field. The ideal candidate will be US-based and ready for frequent short trips across the US, with strong experience in both electrical and mechanical hardware maintenance.

Key Requirements:

• Fluent spoken English for effective communication with native speakers.
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with both electrical and mechanical hardware.
• Valid driver s license and willingness to travel frequently within the US (approx. 50% travel).
• Ability to read and analyze technical documentation, including electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the key engineer located at the client s office in Austin, Texas.

• Coordinate and support electrical and mechanical engineers in the field.

• Conduct frequent short trips across the US to maintain and support devices deployed in various locations.

• Read, interpret, and analyze technical documentation (e.g., electrical schematics, mechanical parts).

• Focus on hardware maintenance activities (no coding required).
