About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team, focusing on general maintenance and repair tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of facilities and providing timely support for a range of handyman services, from minor repairs to installations and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks for buildings and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work.
• Respond promptly to service requests and carry out repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Assist with the installation and assembly of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure that maintenance goals are met and that work is completed efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations while carrying out tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a handyman or maintenance role, demonstrating a diverse skill set in repairs and installations.

• Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills to interact with coworkers and clients professionally.

• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting purposes.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications or training in specific trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry) would be an advantage.

• Experience in property maintenance or facilities management settings.

• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
