Job title: Hand/Power Jack Operator - Debone Plant Dept. 402 (2nd Shift)
About the Role The 2nd Shift Hand/Power Jack Operator in Debone Plant Department 402 supports Bachoco USA's production by preparing and operating equipment, moving product with a lift/jack, and assisting in packing and cooler operations. This safety-sensitive role requires physical stamina and attention to safety in a fast-paced poultry plant environment.
What You'll Do
- Set up and tear down workstation and line as required
- Operate a lift/jack to move and load product
- Move pallets from the production area to the cooler
- Load outgoing shipments
- Fill boxes with ice for use in packing product for shipment
- Fill in for cooler personnel during breaks
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work area and pace with machine capacity
What We're Looking For
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands/arms for extended periods
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in wet/humid, cold, and loud production environments
- Safety-conscious with ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team
- Availability for the 2nd shift (4:55 pm – end of shift)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.25 per hour
- $1/hour weekly attendance incentive
- $1/hour night shift premium
