• Consult with guests to understand their preferences, requirements, and desired look, providing professional recommendations based on their individual needs.
• Provide a range of professional hairstyling services, including blow-drying, styling, updos, braiding, curling, straightening, and special occasion hairstyles.
• Provide professional make-up services for weddings, celebrations, photoshoots, special occasions, and other guest requirements.
• Apply day, evening, bridal, and special occasion make-up professionally, ensuring the look complements the guest's features, outfit, and occasion.
• Recommend suitable hairstyles, make-up looks, and beauty products based on the guest's preferences and occasion.
• Ensure all hair and make-up tools, equipment, brushes, and workstations are clean, sanitized, and properly maintained before and after each service.
• Maintain treatment and styling areas in a clean, tidy, hygienic, and well-organized condition at all times.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and hygienic use of cosmetics, hair products, and other beauty supplies.
• Monitor product and equipment inventory and promptly report shortages, damages, or replenishment requirements to the Spa Manager.
• Maintain accurate guest service records and other documentation as required by hotel policies and government regulations.
• Follow all departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), health and safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and hygiene standards.
• Handle guests' requests, feedback, complaints, and comments professionally, tactfully, and efficiently, escalating concerns to the Spa Manager when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standard in accordance with hotel and departmental guidelines.
• Keep up to date with current hairstyling, make-up, beauty trends, techniques, and products to enhance the guest experience.
• Assist with demonstrations, promotional activities, events, photo sessions, training programs, and refresher sessions as required.
• Assist with the preparation and execution of bridal, wedding, group, and special event beauty services when required.
• Coordinate effectively with Spa & Wellness, Housekeeping, Front Office, Events, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth delivery of guest services.
• Assist with the delivery and collection of towels, linen, and other operational supplies as required, and support the overall operations of the Spa & Wellness Department.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with guests and colleagues, creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment.
• Ensure guest comfort, privacy, safety, and satisfaction throughout every service.
• Report any incidents, accidents, equipment defects, or other irregularities promptly to the Spa Manager.
• Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned by the Spa Manager or management in support of the department's operations.

Qualifications

• Certification in hair and beauty therapy, aesthetics or diploma from a recognized school of alternative therapy

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a spa or hospitality industry

• Good oral proficiency in English language

• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
