Hairdresser cum Spa Therapist

Job Description

• Provide professional hairdressing services, including haircuts, hairstyling, coloring, blow-drying, and hair treatments.
• Conduct consultations to understand guests' preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles, treatments, and hair care products.
• Perform a range of spa and wellness treatments, including massages, body treatments, and other assigned therapies.
• Ensure personalized service by maintaining guest comfort, privacy, and satisfaction throughout each treatment.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation in the salon, spa treatment rooms, equipment, and tools.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of salon and spa products and equipment.
• Recommend and promote appropriate salon and spa treatments, packages, and retail products to guests.
• Monitor product inventory and report stock requirements to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain professional grooming, conduct, and service standards at all times.
• Support the achievement of departmental revenue targets and guest satisfaction objectives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or professional certification in Hairdressing, Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy, or Spa Therapy.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a salon, spa, wellness centre, or hospitality environment.
• Proficient in hair cutting, styling, coloring, blow-drying, and various hair care treatments.
• Knowledge and practical experience in massage techniques, body treatments, and spa therapies.
• Good understanding of salon and spa hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Strong guest service and communication skills, with the ability to understand and respond to individual guest needs.
• Ability to recommend suitable treatments, hair care products, and spa services.
• Well-groomed, professional, and customer-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
• Good command of English; additional languages will be an advantage.
