About the Role The Vinyl Room Guest Relations role supports guest experience in the House of Blues at Las Vegas. You will greet guests, manage wait times and seating, and relay information about shows, menus, and events to guests while coordinating with other departments to ensure a memorable experience. What You'll Do
- Greet guests promptly and courteously in a professional manner.
- Control the flow of guests entering the restaurant and those waiting for a table.
- Gather guest details (name, party size) and anticipate guest needs.
- Direct guests to waiting areas and provide accurate wait times.
- Lead guests to tables, present menus, and ensure seating proceeds smoothly.
- Promote current and future shows, menu items, and retail by placing marketing literature on dining tables.
- Answer questions about the menu, the venue, and artists appearing.
- Manage guest lists, passes, tickets, and relevant production sheets as needed; verify membership cards and IDs.
- Maintain the host area, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere; uphold safety and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate with door hosts, kitchen staff, and Vinyl Room Managers to ensure proper flow.
- Attend pre-shift meetings and adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Thank guests and invite them to return, fostering ongoing engagement. What We're Looking For

- Ability to perform opening and closing duties; excellent communications and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety policies; commitment to guest satisfaction and problem solving.
- Working knowledge of restaurant operations and seating procedures; experience with guest relations.
- High school diploma; music venue and retail operations knowledge preferred.
- Flexible hours; ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Previous host/guest service experience and strong interpersonal skills.
- Point of sales knowledge (MICROS) and VIP guest handling are a plus. Nice to Have
