About this role

Job title: GTM Lead, Strategic Initiatives (Hybrid)

With millions of diners, 60,000+ restaurant partners and 25+ years of experience, OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc., is an industry leader with a passion for helping restaurants thrive. Our world-class technology empowers restaurants to focus on what matters most – their team, their guests, and their bottom line – while enabling diners to discover and book the perfect restaurant for every occasion.

Every employee at OpenTable has a tangible impact on what we do and how we do it. You’ll also be part of a global team and its portfolio of metasearch brands. Hospitality is all about taking care of others, and it defines our culture.

OpenTable is looking for a GTM Lead, Strategic Initiatives to drive innovation and growth for the most powerful platform in the restaurant industry. You’ll focus on high-impact, ad hoc strategic initiatives like launching strategic partnerships, pilot programs, and refining any relevant GTM motions for International growth in partnership with customer facing teams, enablement, product, and more.

If you have a background in consulting, PMM, or strategy and thrive in a "get it done" environment where no two weeks look the same, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will:

  • Execute cross-functional strategic initiatives: Translate strategic partnerships objectives into tactical GTM plans, working closely with partnerships, marketing, sales, product, rev ops, and more to execute and bring to life. You will provide high-touch support and equip the sales and marketing teams with the tools they need to win.

  • Report on initiative progress and identify opportunities to grow sales, adoption, etc.: Conduct relevant analyses to provide recommendations to Product, Sales, and Executive leadership.

  • Drive competitive programs in partnerships with sales and marketing: Partner with sales and marketing to drive competitive programs based on proactive market intelligence.

Please apply if:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, Strategy, or Management Consulting, preferably within B2B SaaS or Hospitality tech.

  • Analytical Storyteller: You are comfortable working with complex data (experience with BI tools like Preset or Tableau is a plus) and can translate numbers into a clear, strategic narrative for executives.

  • Agile & Adaptable: You have the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives and quickly switch focus between deep-dive research and rapid-response tactical support.

  • Strategic & Tactical: You can think high-level about market positioning one hour, and roll up your sleeves to build a battle card or sales deck the next.

  • Curious & Technical: You enjoy getting into the details of software products and understand SaaS economics (comfortable reviewing financial reports or market data to extract insights).

  • Strong Communicator: Executive presence and ability to deliver compelling presentations to a wide range of audiences including leadership, sales teams, and customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven understanding of two-sided marketplaces or the restaurant industry.

  • Experience in pricing research or quantitative market research.

The best connections happen face-to-face, whether you’re sitting down to dinner or having coffee with a coworker. That’s why OpenTable has adopted a hybrid workplace model. This role aligns with that approach, with an expectation of coming into the office two days a week—giving employees the best of both worlds: in-person collaboration and flexibility.

Work Environment and Flexibility

At OpenTable, we pride ourselves on fostering a global and dynamic work environment. As a team member with us, you will benefit from a schedule tailored to accommodate a global workforce operating across multiple time zones. While the majority of your responsibilities may align with conventional business hours, there will be instances where you are expected to manage communications outside of regular working hours to effectively collaborate with international colleagues, respond to restaurant partners, and address urgent matters. OpenTable will always abide by and consider local laws and regulations.

Inclusion

We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive. We know the best ideas come when we bring different voices to the table, so we're building a team as dynamic as the diners and restaurants we serve—and fostering a culture where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.

If you need any reasonable adjustments during the application/interview process, or on the job, we’re here to support you. Please reach out to your recruiter to request any accommodations.
