About this role
Job title: Growth Marketing Manager
About the Role Hover is redefining how homeowners, contractors, and insurance professionals understand and improve properties. We’re investing in organic acquisition and seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to own and scale Hover’s organic growth engine across SEO and GEO. You’ll help ensure customers discover Hover whether they’re searching on Google or using AI-powered tools, and you’ll partner across Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Design to build a sustainable growth engine.
What You'll Do
- Own Hover's long-term organic growth strategy across SEO and GEO.
- Build a technical SEO roadmap by identifying opportunities and partnering with Engineering and our SEO agency to improve site performance.
- Create and evolve a content strategy aligned to contractor and insurance buyer journeys, ensuring content supports search visibility and business objectives.
- Develop Hover's point of view on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and experiment with AI-powered search experiences that discover, summarize, and recommend our content.
- Build scalable editorial processes, including content briefs, publishing workflows, and agency management.
- Establish reporting frameworks that connect organic traffic to qualified leads, pipeline, and business impact.
- Analyze performance data to identify opportunities, measure results, and continuously improve organic acquisition.
- Influence cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing to prioritize initiatives that improve organic performance.
- Stay ahead of industry trends across search, AI, and content marketing, bringing new ideas and experimentation to the team.
What We're Looking For
- 4-6 years of experience in SEO, Growth Marketing, Organic Acquisition, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience leading both technical SEO and content strategy.
- Demonstrated success building or scaling organic acquisition programs—not simply maintaining mature channels.
- Deep understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience using SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, or similar tools.
- Experience measuring and communicating business impact, connecting organic performance to leads, pipeline, or revenue.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent written communication and editorial judgment.
- Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Design, and Marketing teams without direct authority.
Nice to Have
- Experience with HubSpot.
- Experience working at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
- Experience in vertical SaaS, PropTech, ConstructionTech, InsurTech, or other technical B2B markets.
- Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI search, or LLM-driven discovery.
- Experience managing agencies or freelance content partners.
Compensation & Benefits

- Healthcare: comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents.
- Paid Time Off: Unlimited vacation policy.
- Paid Family Leave: Generous paid parental and new child bonding leave.
- Mandatory Self-Care Days: A day set aside each month to recharge.
- Remote Wellbeing Resources: Recurring fitness classes, meditation/mindfulness tools, virtual therapy, and family planning assistance.
- Learning: Support continued education and will help cover costs for management training, conferences, workshops, or certifications.
- Hybrid work policy: Hubs in San Francisco and New York City; employees in these areas should come into the local Hover office at least three times per week to foster connection.
