About the Role The Cloud Operations Manager oversees end-to-end cloud platform operations (AWS and/or Azure) within a 24x7 global delivery model, focusing on run excellence, reliability, cost optimization, governance, and transformation to ensure secure, compliant, scalable, and cost-effective cloud environments. The role is the primary accountable owner for cloud operational KPIs, customer satisfaction, and continuous service improvement. What You'll Do
- Cloud Operations & Service Reliability: Manage daily operations of AWS/Azure cloud platforms supporting production workloads; ensure high availability, resilience, and performance of cloud services; lead incident, problem, and change management (P1/P2 ownership); drive MTTR reduction and incident trend improvement.
- Governance & Stakeholder Management: Establish and lead Operational, Tactical, and Strategic governance forums; act as single-point escalation owner for cloud service issues and risks; collaborate with customers, application teams, SRE, security, networking, and vendors; ensure adherence to ITIL, DFS WoW, and customer-specific governance models.
- Cloud Security, Compliance & Resilience: Ensure compliance with security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory controls; drive backup, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity strategy. What We're Looking For
- Experience in cloud operations and service reliability for AWS and/or Azure in a 24x7 global delivery model.
- Strong incident, problem, and change management (P1/P2 ownership) with a track record of MTTR reduction.
- Governance and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams; familiarity with ITIL, DFS WoW, and customer-specific governance.
- Knowledge of cloud security, compliance requirements, backup, DR, and business continuity planning.
