Group Finance Director

About the Role Muse Group is hiring a Group Finance Director to build and scale the next generation of its global Finance organization. This is a hands-on builder and operator role. The mandate is to create a Finance function that delivers reliable execution, practical insight, strong controls, clear cash visibility, and greater operating leverage across the company.This role sits at the intersection of Finance, systems, AI, and business execution. You will own the execution and delivery of the Finance work required to support Muse’s commercial ambition and enterprise governance. You will build the Finance domain within Muse Operating System, strengthen the function from the bottom up, and make the company easier to run as it scales.This role is open for candidates from UK or Cyprus. What You'll Do

• Build and scale the Finance function for Muse Group globally, establishing processes, systems, and controls that enable reliable execution and strategic insight.
• Own the end-to-end execution and delivery of Finance work to support commercial ambition and enterprise governance.
• Develop the Finance domain within Muse Operating System and collaborate across Finance, systems, AI, and business teams to drive operating leverage.
• Strengthen the function from the bottom up, implement strong cash visibility, governance, and risk management, and enable scalable performance as the company grows.
• Partner with senior leadership to align financial strategy with business objectives and commercial initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, talent development, and succession planning for the finance organization. What We're Looking For
• Proven experience building and scaling a global finance organization; hands-on builder and operator.
• Strong emphasis on controls, cash visibility, financial planning, analysis, reporting, and governance.
• Ability to work at the intersection of Finance, systems, and AI; comfortable partnering with product, engineering, and commercial teams.
• Strategic and operational thinker with the ability to translate business goals into finance execution and systems.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership and managing enterprise governance.
• Eligible to work in the UK (role open to candidates from UK or Cyprus).
