About the Role DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead in Clayton, Indiana. This is a working-lead role responsible for directing the workflow and allocating duties for team members in an assigned department, with the second shift. The role provides day-to-day direction and serves as the initial point of contact for associates, reporting to the Supervisor to ensure high customer standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the workflow and duty allocation for team members within an assigned department (Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping/Pack-out, Staging, Order Selecting).
- Serve as a working-lead, working alongside the team while being the primary contact for associates.
- Assign work schedules, monitor progress, train associates, provide constructive feedback, and assist the Supervisor to meet the highest customer standards.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3+ years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner or other role that requires decision-making and leading other associates.
- The role reports directly to the Supervisor and will be responsible for training associates, monitoring production, giving constructive feedback to associates, providing training to new associates, and assisting the Supervisor to ensure highest customer standards.
- A minimum of 6 months experience operating stand-up material handling equipment; first preference given to applicants with this experience (Order Picker and Reach Truck).
Nice to Have
- Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20.55 per hour, plus a shift differential of $1.00. Total compensation for this role may be $21.55 per hour depending on shift and eligibility.
- Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm to 2:30am.
