Job Summary
Under supervision, maintains and improves the appearance of Cleveland State University (CSU) grounds including athletic fields ensuring that all outdoor areas are clean, safe, and visually appealing. Under supervision, performs routine maintenance. Assists with landscaping construction projects. Removes debris and refuse from outdoor spaces and operates and maintains groundskeeping equipment. Performs snow removal and de-icing during winter months. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent.
- Experience in landscaping or horticultural which includes operating ground maintenance equipment e.g., mowers, small hydraulic equipment e.g., power sweepers and blowers, chain saws.
